Ingredients for Preparing Carrot Pudding

  • 1 3/4 kgs red carrots peeled and grated
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 400gms mava crumbled
  • 7 tablespoons ghee
  • 20 almonds blanched and sliced

Method for Preparing Carrot Pudding

For preparing gajar halwa first put the carrots in a pan. Add milk and cook for few minutes. Add sugar to it and stir well. Cook the solvent till it dries up (say for about 15 minutes) with occasional stirring. Add mava and ghee to it. Cook till shows separately (10 minutes), with constant stirring. Serve hot, garnish with almonds. Now your gajar halwa is ready.
