Ingredients Required For Preparing Mixed Vegetable Puloa
- 7 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 4 brown cardamoms
- 5 cloves
- 1/4kg carrots peeled and cut into long strips
- 1cup peas shelled or frozen
- 3cups basmati rice washed and drained
- 4teaspoons salt
- 3 ½ cups water
Method For Preparing Mixed Vegetable Puloa
- For preparing this recipe firstly heat some oil in pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamoms and cloves. Stir for a few seconds. Add carrots, beans and peas to that solution.
- Next stir and fry it for about 2minutes. Add rice to it and fry till rice turns opaque 3 minutes. Add salt and water to it. Stir once. Close the lid till it gets cooked. Remove from heat and serve hot vegetable pulao.
