Ingredients Required For Preparing Mixed Vegetable Puloa

  • 7 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 4 brown cardamoms
  • 5 cloves
  • 1/4kg carrots peeled and cut into long strips
  • 1cup peas shelled or frozen
  • 3cups basmati rice washed and drained
  • 4teaspoons salt
  • 3 ½ cups water

Method For Preparing Mixed Vegetable Puloa

Vegetable Pulao

For preparing this recipe firstly heat some oil in pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamoms and cloves. Stir for a few seconds. Add carrots, beans and peas to that solution.

Next stir and fry it for about 2minutes. Add rice to it and fry till rice turns opaque 3 minutes. Add salt and water to it. Stir once. Close the lid till it gets cooked. Remove from heat and serve hot vegetable pulao.
