Ingredients for Preparing Rava Kesari
- 1 cup – Rava
- 2 cup – Sugar
- 1 cup – Ghee
- 2 cup – Milk
- 1 cup – Water
- 10 – Cashewnets
- 10 – Raisins
- 1/4 tsp Food colour or kesari powder
- 2 tsp – Cardamom
Method for Preparing Rava Kesari
- Fry the rava in a heavy bottom pan for 5 minutes.
- Add 1 tbsp ghee, fry for 5 more minutes; keep aside.
- Heat ghee in a kadai, add cashew nuts and raisins
- Fry and add milk, water and food colour.
- Allow it to boil.
- Reduce the flame, add sugar.
- Let sugar dissolve. add rava keep flame low
- Mix well, add some ghee and cardamom powder.
- Mix well on medium flame.
- Kesari is ready.
