Bansundi is a delicious Indian dessert. It is very popular Indian dessert, but more famous in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Bihar. It is often made during festivals. Now let’s find out how to make Basundi.

Ingredients Required for Preparing Basundi

  • Milk – 3 Cups
  • Sugar – 1/4 Cup
  • cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Saffron – little
  • Dry fruits – 2 tbsp (for garnishing)

Method for Preparing Basundi

  1. Take a bowl and add the milk to it
  2. Now boil the milk until it becomes half.
  3. Now add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron to it and mix it
  4. Boil the mixture on a medium flame with stirring at regular intervals until it becomes thick. This process will take a time of something around 15 minutes.
  5. As soon as it gets thick(semi-solid), turn off the flame and leave it for cooling.
  6. Now take it in a separate bowl.
  7. Garnish it with dray fruits
  8. Your Basundi is ready to get served.
  9. You can even keep it in fridge and serve it in cold also.
