Vegetable Broth Recipe
Vegetable broth is the basic ingredient for preparing vegetable soups. It is not only used in preparation of soups, but can also be used to bring delicious flavor to vegetable gravies. This is very famous all over the world. It is healthy as well. It is very simple and easy to prepare. Let us learn how to prepare Vegetable Broth recipe at home.
Ingredients Required for Preparing Vegetable Broth Recipe
- Carrot – 100gms
- Beans – 100gms
- Onions – 50gms
- Green Chillies – 2 to 3
- Ginger – 20gms
- Garlic – 20gms
- Barley Powder – 50gms
- Capsicum – 100gms
- Lemon – 1 Tbsp
- Water – 6Cups
- Cooking Oil
- Pepper powder – As per the taste
- Salt – As per the taste
Method for Preparing Vegetable Broth Recipe
- Cut all the vegetable into small pieces and keep aside separately. (Carrot, beans, onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic, and capsicum)
- Take a bowl add 2 Tsp cooking oil. Heat it on a medium flame.
- Add ginger pieces, and onion pieces and fry them slightly.
- Add the remaining vegetables (carrot, beans, garlic, green chillies, and capsicum) to it.
- After frying them for sometime, add water to it and boil.
- Add Black pepper powder to it and mix well.
- Add some more water, and barley powder, and salt to it. Mix them well.
- Next cook it on simmer till the mixture becomes slightly thick (starch like).
- Now add lemon juice to it and mix well.
- Switch off the stove, and take the soup into small cups.
- Your Vegetable broth is ready for serving. Serve it hot.
- If you wish, you can even more vegetable.
