There are several variations in preparing these Stuffed Capsicum. Now, lets learn here how to make Stuffed Capsicum with potato and peas stuffing.</p>
<h3>Ingredients Required for Preparing Stuffed Capsicum</h3>
<ul>
<li>4 green capsicums
<li>2 tbsp of shelled, boiled and mashed green peas
<li>3 Boiled and smashed potatoes
<li>1 finely chopped Onion
<li>1/4 tsp Chili powder
<li>1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
<li>1/4 tsp Amchur powder (mango powder)
<li>1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
<li>1/4 tsp Coriander powder (for garnishing)<br />
<>Almond flakes (for garnishing)</p>
<li>Oil as per requirement
<li>Salt according to taste
</ul>
<h3>Method for Preparing Stuffed Capsicum</h3>
<ol>
<li>Wash and cut off only the top of the capsicum. Scoop out all the seeds and pith inside it.
<li>Boil them on a medium heat till they are tender. Then, remove them, drain and let them to get cool.
<li>Take a frying pan. Heat it with 2 tsp of oil to it. next fry the chopped onions till they turn brown.
<li>Now add the mashed potatoes, peas and the spices to it and fry them together.
<li>Take the capsicum, which you have kept aside for cooling and stuff  the potato mixture into it and then tie them carefully with a thread.
<li>Heat oil in a pan and fry the stuffed capsicums on all sides.
<li>Take them in a plate and remove the threads.
<li>Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and almond flakes.</li>
<li>Now our Stuffed Capsicum is ready to serve.

<h3>Ingredients Required For Preparing Bisi Bele Bhath</h3>
<ul>
<li>rice 1/2 cup (washed and soaked in water for half an hour)
<li>toor dal &#8211; 3/4 cup
<li>medium potatoes peeled and cut into big chunks &#8211; 2
<li>carrot cut into big pieces &#8211; 1
<li>beans cut into long pieces &#8211; 100gms
<li>capsicum cut into big pieces (optional) &#8211; 1<br />
(can also include vegetables like turnip, english gourd, cauliflower)</p>
<li>salt as per taste
<li>water to cook dal and rice
</ul>
<p><strong>Ingredients Required For Seasoning</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>oil &#8211; 3 table spoon
<li>mustars &#8211; 2 tspn
<li>gram dal &#8211; one tspn
<li>urad dal &#8211; one tspn
</ul>
<p><strong>Ingredients Required For Paste:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>coconut &#8211; 1/2
<li>corriander seed &#8211; 1 and 1/2 table spoons
<li>gram dhal &#8211; 1 and 1/4table spoon
<li>urad dhal &#8211; 1 table spoon
<li>jeera (cumin seed) &#8211; 1 tsp
<li>red chillies &#8211; 10 &#8211; 12
<li>pepper &#8211; 4 to 5 corns
<li>cinnammon &#8211; 1 inch
<li>clove	 &#8211; 1
<li>fenukgreek and mustard &#8211; very few
<li>asafoetida &#8211; a pinch
<li>tamarind &#8211; small
<li>one medium onion
<li>one mediun tomato
<li>jaggery &#8211; a small piece
</ul>
<h3>Method For Preparing Bisi Bele Bhath</h3>
<ol>
<li>In a pressure cooker, put the dal and add enough water.
<li>Cook till half done, one whistle would be enough.
<li>Grind all the ingredients listed for paste.
<li>Roast all with a little oil till golden brown.
<li>Add this to the other ingredients required for the paste and grind till smooth.
<li>Once the dal is done, In a  heavy based cooker or pan put oil.
<li>Once the oil is heated, add  mustard and allow to splutter.
<li>Add the gram and urad dals and wait till golden brown.
<li>Now add the ground paste and stir for a minute or two.
<li>To this, add the cut vegetables and fry for a few minutes.
<li>Add the half cooked toor dal ( inclucing water) and the soaked and drained rice.
<li>Add enough water to cook the rice well. It may take the twice the<br />
usual amount.The result should semi solid.</p>
<li>Add the salt and set the cooker, 1 or 2 whistles would be enough.
<li>Serve hot with a dollop of ghee (optional) with potato chips and any raitha.

<li>1 tsp &#8211; cumin
<li>1 &#8211; onion, finely chopped
<li>1 tsp &#8211; ginger-garlic paste
<li>2 to 3 &#8211; medium ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
<li>1/4 tsp &#8211; turmeric
<li>1 tbsp &#8211; coriander-cumin powder
<li>1 tsp &#8211; garam masala
<li>1 tsp &#8211; chilli powder ( or as per taste)

<h3>Ingredients Required For Preparing Baingan Bharta</h3>
<ol>
<li>
<li>Wash your eggplant, wipe it dry and then coat it with some oil.Turn your stove on with flame med-high and place the eggplant on it. This will burn out the skin of the eggplant while making it soft.</p>
<li>Let it cool and then remove the skin from the eggplant. Remove its flesh, mash it well and keep it aside.
<li>Saute onions, ginger garlic paste along with the spices until soft in 1 tsp &#8211; oil.
<li>Add the chopped tomatoes and saute until tomatoes are soft.
<li>Finally add the mashed eggplant, mix well until combined and serve hot garnished with cilnatro.

<h3>Method for Preparing Tadka Dal</h3>
<ol>
<li>Wash and drain the dal and then put it in the pressure cooker, along with turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp salt and water. Make sure that the dal is not over cooked.
<li>Now, take a non stick pan and heat ghee in it. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and mustard seeds to it.
<li>When the seeds start to splutter, put asofetida, green chilies and garlic and fry for a minute.
<li>Now, add cooked dal and salt in the prepared tadka and fry for 4 to 5 minutes.
<li>Sprinkle lemon juice on top.
<li>Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapattis and rice.
